ryo lu

I’m Ryo Lu, a multidisciplinary designer. Born in China and raised in Canada, I’ve always been equally curious about design, culture, and technology. Over the years, I’ve worked on freelance and personal projects from conception to development, interned at large companies, while completing a degree in Computer Science and Biology.

Since 2014, I’ve been solving a huge variety of problems faced by startups. I designed and built SchedulingDirect, an employee management service for businesses, and Pluto, a gamified language-learning app. Sadly both project ended as teams dissolved.

In 2016, I spent a year building and leading the design team at Ping++, a payments startup in Shanghai. I’m currently a product designer at Asana.
